Free 3D Printing Resources Available To The Public By Appointment



Thursday, Nov. 2, Las Vegas Ward 3 Councilwoman Olivia Diaz will join city officials to cut the ribbon for the city’s first 3D Maker Center. The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the International Innovation Center @Vegas, located at 300 S. Fourth St., suite 180.

The new 3D print center is located downtown in Ward 3 and is available for free public use by appointment. The center features 3D printers and will offer educational workshops for all ages and skill levels.

To learn more about the center, visit www.innovate.vegas/makers; to make an appointment to use the facility, please email CLVMakerCenter@lasvegasnevada.gov. Those wanting to use the lab are required to attend a safety training session before utilizing the facility.

The center is located in the International Innovation Center @Vegas, one of two city-owned locations downtown providing space for innovative startups and technology testing. It is an environment for brainstorming, formulating and executing business in Las Vegas. For more information, visit www.innovate.vegas.
